We were asked to stop by & get a t-shirt. The bar was clean and the staff were friendly. Directly across the street from the memorial also.

Lots of diverse and colorful people but not too noisy, drinks on the average price and good quality, friendly bartenders, second floor is where the band is and the dancing space. Patrons usually respect your space and the place is less on the wild side...More

Came as a mini pilgrimage to this wonderful bar which has such as strong influence in LGBT history. The bar didn't disappoint. Reasonably priced beer, photos of the history around the wall while remaining contemporary with music. Staff a little low in numbers for a...More

Iconic gay bar in west village. Friendly bar. Reasonable prices and a pool table. Right in the heart of the gay part of New York. Easy to find. Look out for the flags. Normal selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.

I wanted to see this legendary Greenwich village place! The ophotos that adorn the walls, partly tell the story behind the uprisings and, the activism. The current crew, fill in the blanks, while you participate in drinking and dancing! Really authentic!

My wife and I walked into this pub because it looked like a good place from the outside. We only realised it was a LGBT bar after we got in, and we only started to guess that there was history attached to this place when...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted

this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
