A great place for cigar smokers, others be warned if you don't like that scene. Staff is friendly and helpful, cigars are delightful. In the winter the outdoor enclosure provides some good warmed and place to sit. Highly recommend. It New York so don't expect your bill to be cheap.

This little bar is so fun- it feels like an old library, and you can smoke cigars. We used to spend a lot of time here during college.

One of the rare spots in NYC where one can enjoy a drink AND a cigar. They have an excellent selection of both. The service is spot on. Its located in the trendiest neighborhood in the city, yet it is quiet and unassuming

Great cigar bar with cocktails. Good selection of cigars, but it can get very smoke-filled (duh, I know). I love smoking cigars so always make sure I stay nearby.

The list for both items is endless and very well stocked, If you want to smoke your own cigars or cigarettes there is a fee which the guy sitting next to us thought was fair and I agree.. there are not many places to go these days ..indoors ( and with such a huge list of malts to enjoy the... Surprised by the Cigar "uncorking" fee I sat down to write this review. Arriving late in NYC I decided to find a place close to my hotel to smoke a cigar. I took my cigar case and headed out (thanks to yelp). I came to this place and immediately took out my cigar and asked for a menu. I told... More

A vast and impressive selection of scotches from around the world , from the major to the almost unheard of distilleries, along with wines and cocktails all in a " British gentleman's club" atmosphere whilst enjoying a cigar either on the kerbside tables or inside. I am afraid one would be rather disappointed with the 'books'!

After sightseeing we just needed drinks and saw this place with tempting name. It was afternoon so there were only few people in smoking big fat cigars. My husband smokes cigars so we were pleased to find this kind of place. They have a nice selection whisky.

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
