Description:

The first and most famous studio tour in television history is now better...

The first and most famous studio tour in television history is now better than ever. It's more in depth. More interactive. And, above all, more fun.

You’ll enjoy behind-the-scenes access to the studios where your favorite

shows are made. Like Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring

Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers and more.

An NBC Page will serve as your host and behind-the-scenes expert,

guiding you through the historic halls of 30 Rock. You’ll learn about the entire TV production process, from the writing process and producing to the ways TV content gets to your home.

You’ll then experience it all first hand as you and your fellow Tour guests produce your own show in our brand new Tour Studio. You can then

download your show to keep for free.

This was an informative tour. Great tour guide. Very interesting to see the set of snl. The video at the beginning reminded us how many shows this network has aired. my only complaint is if you have a confirmation number why should you have to wait in line so early before the tour. Time is ltd and we gave our... More

During our tour, we visited the SNL studio and the Today Show studio. I found it interesting to see the sets which have hosted so many famous people thru the years. Our pages were very informative and readily answered any questions our group asked. Our tour group was a group of high school students and parents so we all knew... More

Toured with my teenage daughter and she loved this tour as much as I did. The pages that act as your guides are full of great information! Fun to see the behind-the-scenes aspects of popular NBC shows!

We took the tour at 4:45 March 14, 2013. We saw only the Today Show set, which as my teen daughter pointed out we could see for free from the street. As the tour was for her, this was a bust. We spent more time in security and walking and with fillers like the 10 min video and the fake... More

This was an interesting tour and the staff were fantastically well informative but we struggled as we did not know most of the programmes they were talking about! Interesting and you get a good insight in to the studios and the goings on behind the scenes.

Toured some of the most famous sets on TV. SNL, Dr. OZ and others. One of a kind tour. Dont forget to go on top of the rock while you are there.

Took the tour with two friends on Thursday 11am. We saw the Nightly News, Dr Oz and SNL studios. We didn't mind that they were empty; being in those spaces was exciting enough! However, a couple of things disappointed us about the tour. We are from Australia and the tour guides expected a lot of 'assumed knowledge'. There was no... More

Took the tour on the friday 22/02/2013 and it was a fun way to use an hour, perhaps a little costly but good. The presenters were very friendly and well informed. Got to see inside 3 studios, would have been nice to see something being filmed, but i guess thats just luck of the draw. A good tour, however it... More

If you take the tour, it is wise to make reservations. The pages were friendly and presented tidbits of information but this tour seemed to be missing something. The tour is about 70 minutes and consists of 30 people. It starts with an 8 minute movie which was interesting. After 10-12 minutes devoted to this movie (getting seated, watching movie... More

We saw the Brian Williams News studio , SNL studio and Dr Oz Studio - all empty. Moderately interesting, with lots of coming and going in lifts to get to each studio, in amongst other tour groups. The tour changes depending on the time of day and day of the week. Quite interesting, but not agreat loss to your schedule... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
