We went to see the 8pm show of Wicked. It was awesome. The lobby had good selection of souvenirs and you can take a picture on a green screen and they super impose Glinda and the Wicked Witch. Good picture but would have preferred if the characters in the picture were the ones on the stage. The beverages came in... More

With over 1,900 seats, having 2 restroom to serve 4 floors is ridiculous. There was only one intermission, you can imagine how long the line was. The seats are so jammed together, you would seriously annoy everyone in your row if you wanted to leave before the intermission or the end of the performance. The "security" at the front door... The more modern/updated architecture gives this theater a bigger feel and all around aura of grandeur when taking in a play. The size works in tandem with the fantastic props and scenery used in Wicked. The leg room between seats is also noticeably better than most older Broadway theaters.

I love this theatre. The theatre is a more modern Broadway theatre. The seats and rows are wider. The size is wonderful. The theatre also has the Broadway Hall of fame. If you can't see Wicked, go see Behind the Emerald Curtain, which will give you a look at this beautiful theatre. The bars are wide open and staff is... More

My fiancé surprised me with tickets to my first Broadway Production. I lived in NYC yet never made it to a Broadway play, so this was a very special treat now that I live in Texas. The theatre itself is amazing. We watched Wicked there. We were so close to the stage some of the crepe paper hit us, however,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
