Best jazz venue!

We went to Moonglow for the 9:30 show and what a treat! Looking out on 59th street from floor to ceiling windows and listening to the best of Beeny Goodman music! Have to go back.

Best night spent in New York. We saw a jazz band made up of 20 somethings that took my breath away. The awesome backdrop of central park and the city just enhanced the experience even more. Highly recommend this location!!

I'm a native New Yawker, and we enjoy jazz, not only at local jazz clubs, but here at jazz's cathedral. Any visitor to the City must spend an evening here. We just enjoyed a wonderful performance of Benny Goodman's great music in the spectacular Appel Room. The music and the setting together make for a sublime evening. The room overlooks... More

Took my kids to Jazz at Lincoln Center recently. It's a very classy spot to listen to some great jazz. There is a beautiful view behind the stage and the room is quite small and intimate yet you are not right on top of your neighbor. We chose to reserve a table. The service was very good - don't know... More

We came to see Janis Ian one night and Mario Cantone the next for the Lincoln American Songbook series. It is a breath taking facility in the Shops at Columbus Circle. Seating about 450 people, the backdrop for the stage is a multistory view of 59th Street and Central Park. The acoustics are great. Every seat is a good one.... More

Relatively new destination in NYC located in Tie Warner Center in Columbus Circle. Reservations and seating needs to be better organized. Renovations due by early 2016.

Jazz at Lincoln Center has become a tradition in traveling to NYC. The setting and entertainment is the best. Enthusiastic, professional musicians at the top of their game with well considered programs. Fairly priced seats and easy, online reservations. Try it.

We saw a wonderful concert on Friday night and were completely "wowed" by the venue. Not only is it a great concert space, but the view of NYC/Colombus Circle area at night is very special. I would highly recommend it!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
