There is nothing really special about this landmark. It does get you from one borough to another. The view can be nice nd you do find people on the bridge.

This is a cool bridge. The subway uses this bridge to cross into Brooklyn. This is the easternmost of the 3 bridges into Brooklyn. This one is the best crossing when traveling to Queens or Long Island. Like the others this is a pretty bridge...More

As iconic as the Brooklyn Bridge is, the Williamsburg bridge offered just as good a views and made for a really pleasant walk which took just a bit longer time wise than the Brooklyn did on our recent visit. Not forgetting that once you cross...More

From the One World Observatory, we had a clear view of the Williamsburg Bridge. It is a suspension bridge across the East River connecting the Lower East Side at Delancey Street with the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn at Broadway. It is free to use this...More

In terms of exercise and views it’s a great walk. If you want photos it’s not quite as good as the mesh caging and girders obstruct the view. It’s nowhere near as busy to walk as Brooklyn Bridge but doesn’t quite have the photo opportunities....More

Take a roundtrip walk across the bridge to burn off calories from Christmas day brunch It's a short walk from the lower East side restaurants (Essex and delancey). The best part was the wide walkway across the suspension bridge. Unlike the crammed Brooklyn bridge.) Views...More

After walking this Brooklyn bridge with many hundreds of other people, this was a pleasant surprise. I think we saw about 10 people in total crossing the bridge when we did! It’s a fun walk with good views and very peaceful.

Took a weekend walk from Lower East Side to Williamsburg. It’s 1.4 miles one way with separate bike lanes and walk/jog lanes. Definitely not a quiet place with all the noise from cars and trains, but good views of Brooklyn & Manhattan and the bridges...More

After a good Thai lunch in Williamsburg we decided to walk back to Central Station a Manhattan. The Williamsburg was the first of bridge wakings over the NY bridges. Nice and enjoyable as the weather was good. The walkway was covered, sadly, by to much...More

We drove over this bridge during the dark of night and the view of the city from both sides of the bridge is stunning. The high-rise structures all lit up makes for a great picture.
