This beautiful Church on Broadway is just south of Union Square, and dates to the late 1800s. It is in the midst of a renovation that will take many years due to the process that must be followed to ensure the stained glass is not damaged. Being a Scot, we had to go to St. Andrew's Church (the patron saint of Scotland) and were really glad we did. The building is quite wonderful inside, with very beautiful preservation of original features. The Sunday service was interesting, with a small community who made all feel inclusive. The calm in the storm effect was worth coming for.
