Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Father Demo Square is a fairly standard public space with a fountain and some parks. It's a good meeting spot since it is well known and in a good location. However, it doesn't appear to have the same TLC as other spots, especially with the always well-kept Washington Square Park so close.

OK, I know that “square” refers to a public gathering place, but It’s a triangle and it’s only ¼ acre in size, but it does have a nice fountain and is in a nice part of NYC. Father Demo Square is named for Father Antonio Demo who was pastor at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in the beginning of the 20th Century (the neighborhood used to be predominantly Italian). It’s a cute place to have a seat and rest from all the walking you do in this area.

Father Demo Square is a very small triangular park. Nice little fountain and a place where you can sit and rest. You could easily miss it!

Came across this little triangular park when walking around NYC. Stopped and sat on a bench and ate our lunch (bought from Faiccos' Pork Store). Pleasant rest stop with benches to sit on, trees, a fountain and views of the Our Lady of Pompeii Church.

I like to bring with me people here when they visit New York City for the first time because of the stairs who are on this square. Especially at night the stairs make a huge impression.

Very small park in Greenwich Village. There are a few park benches where you can relax for a few minutes and plenty if hungry pigeons.

Walking from Friends apartment to Doctor Strange's address on Bleecker St you easily pass this nice small park with its delightful fountain, a nice pit-stop wandering lower Manhattan.

My wife and I walked from Times Square all the way down to the 9/11 Memorial, and were glad of this little oasis in Bleecker Street to stop off at for a rest.
Called Father Demo Square, but it is actually a very small triangular section.
In the centre of the square is a fountain, this was not in operation during our visit at the end of February, most likely due to it still being winter.
Numerous benches to sit at in the square to chill and relax for a while.
There are also a number of premises in the nearby vicinity to purchase food and drinks from.

Father Demo Square found us as we explored the neighborhood on foot. The small dose of nature -- the fountain, grass, park benches, birds -- was the perfect antidote to blocks of city. We rested our feet, enjoyed people- and bird-watching, and reveled in the cool air created by the fountain. Father Demo Square was an oasis on a hot, muggy day.

Pleasant little square in Greenwich village. Lots of people sitting under the trees having lunch when we were there. Heaps of food places nearby. Has a lovely fountain in the centre which attracts lots of birds. Good place to sit and people watch.
