We recently enjoyed M Butterfly here - it was a great show. Too bad it's closing early. The Cort Theater is a great example of Broadway from a century ago. It feels very intimate - this is a wonderful thing if you are seeing a...More

I liked this theatre. It’s not really off broadway but being closer to 6th Avenue than Broadway, it’s slightly off the beaten path and away from the crowds of Times Square. I am 5’11” and mostly leg and I was comfortable (having an aisle seat...More

We saw M. Butterfly at the Cort Theatre. We had never been in the Cort and it is a beautiful, but a somewhat claustrophobic venue. It has an orchestra and two balconies. The decorative detail is gorgeous and must have been restored in recent years....More

We enjoyed "Indecent" here. While the seating felt right and we were a bit cramped without as much leg room as we would have liked, but on the other hand, we were in the balcony and could see the stage very well and it looked...More

I actually visited NYC in February of 2014 and saw "Waiting for Godot" at the Cort Theatre. Loved the design of the inside, great atmosphere.

This play left the audience literally in tears--it is so moving, well written, and well-acted. Just so incredibly done and based on a true story. Don't miss it!

We saw INDECENT here. We had back row orchestra seats which were fine but the balcony hangs over the last eight or so rows which blocks your view of part of the back wall of the stage. All in all, still a very good theatre

Rush seats for Bright Star can be located in any section of the theater (orchestra, mezzanine, balcony or boxes), but they are typically in the best available locations.

I agree with the previous comments. Rows such as AA are too close & you would be looking up. I had a cheap seat in the balcony & was very satisfied with the view. No problem hearing either.

They are full view, but the more center the better! Rows D through H are all priced at $45 for Bright Star, so try to go for row D.
