Interesting place

Great area to stay, if you take the Vamoose bus from the DC area. We've stayed here multiple times. Restaurants are open 24 hours/day.

Very close to the Flagship Macy*s and a nice place to stop and get BBQ and desserts. Grace Street cafe is a standout.

Looking for Korean food on your schedule, look no further than Korea Way between 5th and 6th streets in Koreatown. There are at least fifteen 24 hour restaurants on Korea Way according to what we counted. And many small businesses owned and operated by Koreans from bars and karaoke clubs to electronics shops to bookstores. Signage in Koreatown is in... More

Love Koreatown! Whether you want any type of Korean cuisine, Japanese cruise or even Chinese cuisine, this part of NYC is for you. Don't only look street level for food, as some of the restaurants are on higher floors in the buildings. We love Mandoo Bar for their incredible dumplings

Whilst in NY for improving my language skills I went with a few friends of mine to K-Town as I had never tried this type of food and I was very intrigued. We headed to a tiny place of which i do not recall the name and tasted some noodles, spicy omelette and meat. Everything was very good. We then... More

When in NYC, stop in Koreatown. You will not be disappointed with great dining and shopping. So many shops to choose from that you will feel like you are in Seoul, Korea. Desserts, bubble tea, ramens, steamed baos, Kung fu tea and seoul for lunch. Plenty of places to seat on 2nd and 3rd floor and had the best Champpong... More

Visited this place several times for dinners and it is well worth the visit - plenty of choices from BBQ to chicken wings, Noodles to bao, bubble tea to ice tea. Visit and experiment!

I loved Koreatown. There are many small stores selling unique Korean products (such as facial creams, teas). Obviously, there are many Korean restaurants: you can find family restaurants, fancy ones, BBQ and wonderful delicious food at Hangawi - a vegan Korean restaurant. Another great opportunity is to visit the Korean grocery stores, browse among the interesting products and choose some... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
