We visited about 5:00 in the evening. Activity was going on everywhere, singers, card players, soccer, etc. mainly senior adults but some younger adults and kids. Plenty of benches and shade.

Columbus Park is a park in Chinatown, which means most people there are Chinese. The park is small and has a few swings and slides for children. It also has a building with a toilet, which is handy.

There are so many parks in Manhattan! This one is a neighborhood park in Chinatown. Unlike the other parks in Manhattan, it includes a playground.

We passed through Columbus Park while walking from WTC to Chinatown/Little Italy. We loved the atmosphere as men and women played traditional games with crowds overlooking them and offering input.

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
