As food lovers, we loved Chelsea market! It was a really fun place to go and experience the food delights of New York. Could have spent hours there shopping, tasting food and exploring the markets. Only advice would be to go in the mornings when it's a bit quieter.

We wondered in here looking for a place to eat lunch. After looking over several menus we decided on Takumi because of the uniqueness and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend this before or after a walk on the high line.

We spent a few hours in Chelsea Market on Monday morning. Could have spent more time there if we had it. We ate breakfast and lunch. We grabbed a quick breakfast sandwich from Chelsea Creamline, then continued on to look in several of the unique shops in the market. There is a great bookstore. Also a place called Artists &... Yummy. After walking the market looking at all then incredible choices for lunch we decided in the Lobster place. Had an amazing lobster, a couple beers and some freshly fresh freak oysters. Amazing If you are in NYC and find yourself near the market this is a must. Then go across the isle to get some fresh homemade doughnuts and... More

The renovated Nabisco factory makes for a engaging and well presented shopping location. Medium price range boutiques, fast food and gourmet options are all there for visitors.

It was so crowded we could hardly move. We needed to use the bathroom and there were literally 50 people in line for the 1 bathroom this place has. That should be against the law. I was not impressed!

We had a fantastic picnic box each - one with a lobster roll and one with a crab roll. It was all just perfect and tasty and a great stop for a tasty lunch whilst walking along the high line.

I stumbled upon Chelsea Market while I was wandering the city. This place is amazing. Unfortunately I was still full from lunch and couldn't bring myself to get anything to eat.....but just walking through was an experience. Every kind of food you could image, I cannot wait to go back and try everything.

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene.
