Interesting place to visit, a little out of the way if you're staying in Midtown, great choice of snacks, but overcrowded and difficult to navigate. Is however very convenient for the High Line

if she likes to cook, the cookware shop- tons of suitcase portable items there. The cheese monger is also great - maybe she will share her memorable gift with you.
