Really amazing place to visit. Be ready to spend here at least an hour even if you don't plant to eat. A great stop especially if it's extremely hot or rainy outside. A vast variety of tastes and options, in many different cuisines. Also several...More

We went to the Chelsea Market the morning before leaving. This is a great market with tons of food to select from. We were also able to pick up some souvenirs.

In spite of its small size (I was expecting a bigger one) it is a very nice place to discover many different "cuisines". We had a super Taco but you can also get a lobster sandwich or a wonderful piece of meat, taste an amazing...More

Lots of energy and fun to walk around. Mostly food places. Excellent GF (corn tortillas) at the taco place (can’t remember the name!!). Delicious.

Really cool, vibey place. All under cover, lots of cool places to try a fantastic selection of food. In a great area too, right by the Highline which you can walk first to work up an appetite!

Amazing clean and full of character market. However it wasn't as big as I thought. Business owners all seem nice. But the customers were so rude and in your face. No elbow room.

We loved this area of New York. The Chelsea market is a market restored from an old biscuit factory. It retains many old features in a modern environment. You tube and google are local residents

A really nice place with a bit of history involved. Try it for small-scale shopping (nice and mostly good-quality handicrafts available on the other end of the market) and for lunch/dinner. Excellent crab restaurant next to the fish market.

Went there to eat. The food options were quite uncommon, e.g. Mexican japanese crossover. Very nice place to shop and have food.

We enjoyed the fresh lobsters & the atmosphere. This market has more restaurants vs shops. Not much shopping you can do here. This market quite small vs our expectation for New York market.

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful
brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most
popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s
jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The
contemporary art scene is an integral part of the
neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost
every night of the week and countless exhibits to
explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York
