Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

We took the best of NYC cruise last week, which I think is the biggest one that does the full Manhattan tour in about 2.5 hours. And wow with everything you get to see and learn for only 42$ that's almost a steal !! We arrived 30-40 minutes in advance and managed to get seats on the boat's roof (open... More

Excellent commentary with lots of useful information. Getting on the boat was a bit of a trial as they were expecting people to stop and have their photos taken - no wonder they want you to arrive 45 minutes early. It would have been a much better experience without this. Good visibility all round on the boat and we were... More

Great tour and best way to see the SOL. We got fab photos of the many bridges inc. Brooklyn Bridge. I wouldn't take any other cruise. And it was worth the extra dollars for the premier ticket as we had reserved sections inside and outside so the best photo taking opportunities.

I've been coming to NYC since 1964, but somehow had never taken the Circle Tour! Finally did, on a cool but clear afternoon in late April. Fantastic, amusing but not over-reaching Tour announcer carried us on on a sustained oral journey around Manhatten, delivering history and geography, along with some cinema highlights and a bit of celebrity gossip, all in... Went on the Harbour Lights tour with my family, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, but with one drawback however. As other people have said in their reviews, the audio on the top deck is very scratchy. We heard snippets now and again, and what we did hear was very informative. The whole reason for the cruise was to learn... More

On our second trip to NYC last month we took the evening cruise. Everything was seemless from booking online to collecting tickets, great customer service all round. The boat was spotlessly clean and the staff onboard were so friendly and welcoming. The cruise itself was fantastic, saw so much from the water that you just can't see from anywhere else,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
