Not many tourists make it to this gem within Central Park. Worth the hike to get there. I quiet place of zen within the park.

Great place to pause and relax. In full bloom and beautiful fountains. Easy to forget you are in the city.

You must fit this in to a visit to Central Park. It is quieter up here than further south in Central Park and a great place to slow down and observe the details of the beautiful planting. Fab in spring when the magnolias are in...More

Everything is in bloom for a few more days. All spring and summer the gardeners rotate different plantings so It is always a great pleasure to walk through, read, or people watch. I go to the conservatory garden at least weekly.

A well kept secret, reminding us that this park was entirely planned from the ground up even if some areas look god made. This area features several wonderful garden areas which bloom at different times; tulip and narcissus and other bulb gardens for April, many...More

Visited 4/21 and found the garden peaceful and well laid out. Unfortunately, too early in the season and very little flowers. Some Dogwoods and Cherry Blossoms were in bloom and quite lovely. Plenty of different birds and so removed from the city you could hear...More

Agree with the above. Be aware that the Conservatory Garden is rather small and can be seen in less than an hour. If you wish for a longer excursion, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a true oasis of quiet beauty away from... More
