An average bar with an above average name. ONthing special about it. Happy hour was 2 for 1. Doubt I'd make the walk to go there again.

Small bar, and the only attraction is watching some girls get up on the table and dance every once in a while. Total waste of time and money.

A nice place… like no other… wild, wild and wild. A lovely atmosphere, great music and coyotes dancing on the bar… that's phenomenal… I live this place and looking forward to visit their Vegas branch.

We loved the film in the 90's so wanted to visit. The lovely Celine was the Coyote working and we went early so had amazing 2 for 1 Angry orchard cider with fireball shots which when mixed tastes like Apple pie. It's called 'Angry Balls' and would recommend trying it. Great welcome and atmosphere even very early with only a... More

Visited here about 3 years ago and the place had a great atmosphere and really good bar staff. When I a 3 times in Sept 15, was busy on Saturday night and dead on the other 2 nights in the week. The staff were not engaging and with no atmosphere in the bar. The restrooms are at best disgusting. Lots... More

If you are a fan of the film you will love this bar. We were only in the door a minute when we were served our drinks and one of the Coyotes invited me to dance with her on the bar. It would've been rude to refuse. The free shot for dancing on the bar went down very well too.

We trekked across town just to go to this bar after finding out hogs and heifers (the bar where the film was actually filmed) has closed down! What an absolute disappointment! The first thing that hits you is the awful smell, then the lack of atmosphere and then the stoned doorman who shines a torch on your ID after sauntering... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
