And a great OPEN BAR with wonderful cocktails (please tip your bartender :) I did the Lombardi case solo. No problems with me being alone as I was put in a team of other solo people and couples. I felt in New York in the gritty 70s. 6 TOP NOTCH actors - including a particularly incredible actor playing a homeless... More

What a wonderful company. Carlo and his team did an outstanding job, start to finish! It was a pleasure coordinating a private performance for a group of 50 adults with disability. We had an accessible performance space, an enthusiastic staff that was engaging and really in character. Carlo was clear and timely from the initial outreach, provided a contract, receipts... More

Pros: Overall show was pretty good. Actors did a fantastic job. They stayed in character and were highly amusing. Getting to walk around NYC at the same time was neat. Cons: Try to go with a group of friends because they'll pair you up with other groups. I think that's how they make more money in one show without having... More

We went to a Live In Theater production for my friend Becca's birthday celebration this past weekend. I will admit, my expectations were fairly low since we didn't pay very much for our tickets and I'd never heard of a theater production where you participated in the show... but we had a really great time! Not only were the actors... More

We celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday by going to Live-In theater, the Lombardi case. We had such a great time, it was absolutely awesome! We can't wait to try this again on another trip to New York City.

We helped solve a real 19th century murder in New York's 5 Points district, and saw excellent theater at the same time. The idea is fantastic, and the execution was perfect. Actors are available afterwards for discussion. We loved this and will do it again!

This was an amazing experience! My friend and I went to see the Lombardi case and from the start it was very engaging and also allowed us the opportunity to interact with other groups of tourists in solving the case. It was lots of fun to walk around the streets wondering who you will see next and how to approach... More

What a great experience for everyone in our group ages 12 to 77! We tried to solve The Ryan Case. What a blast! We met at a "grocery store" and were told about the case. Then we were given a map to follow. As we walked in 100 degree heat - no one cared. We all spoke about each character... More

AWESOME! This was a lot fun and glad we did it on our trip. We had two younger children (Age 12) who are extremely involved with theater and they had a blast. There is vulgar language the actors use to keep in character so make sure your child are ready. This is designed for adult entertainment but very kid friendly... More

Caught the Lombardi Case this afternoon. The 2-hour show has the audience walking around the LES, meeting suspects/witnesses of a murder case and trying to find out who killed Lombardi. The actors are very realistic and never lose character on the streets, so much so that other passersby are curious and sometimes freaked out. This is a very unique experience... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
