I went here looking for second hand Criterion Collection Blu Rays, and they had a nice collection of about 30 titles. Each cost about 18 dollars.

Wasn't really what we were looking for (rock, blues, classic rock). But would be good for folks looking for orchestral, classical, punk and more not-mainstream stuff.

I am an avid collector of classical music CDs and BluRays, and Academy is heaven for me. Well stocked with many hard to find titles, and has a large $3 clearance section in the back.

Good place to find rare records U can find oldies along with new print records And i do mean vynil If u can't find what u looking for the staff at the store will help u find it

academy records in manhattan has a good selection of records, prices range from ok to quite expensive, but you're likely to find some great bargains.

Didn't have much time here but picked up some nice stuff. If you like Classical, this is great ! Do drop by if you have some time - not much indie or rock but some nice eclectic stuff

Great source for cds/lps; even for classical fans like me. Very expert staff and constantly changing stock with many bargains. Across the road is City Bakery for a coffee or comfort break. Only this and Westsider left for classical buyers of used cds in NY...More
