This venue holds concerts and is also a nightclub. This was my first time there. I was there with three teens for a concert and meet and greet. The girls were able to stand right by the stage and had a great time.

Good venue, easy to get to and good location. The sound system seemed like it could have been a little better. Good venue to see a band, easy to get up close, next to the stage, bars are right there.

I've been coming to this place many times over the last 10 years and was always pleased with the sound and specifically very very friendly and helpful stuff. Drinks are expensive which is expected for any New York concert bar place.

I was appalled at the treatment at the door. You may be able to bully underage and early twenty somethings but don't approach this bar if you are an adult with any self respect. You will be pushed around like cattle by the "security". Men...More

The security here is kind of rude. They have a coat check downstairs. The drink prices are absolutely ridiculous. But the sound is good though.

I've been to this venue a few times mainly for performances. It is really huge with about three rooms that each usually host their own event. The main room has the stage with a second floor VIP balcony section. I don't recommend the balcony because...More

Casual venue - we bought tickets to the Gotham party. We saw some performances but there were long breaks between sets. No need to "dress to impress" even though they suggest it.

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
