Great idea!!! Full colors all the way. Such an original idea. The oictures, the rooms, the details, the treats. Everyhting is so cool. We had such a great time. We want to go back. It felt so good to be able to play and enjoy little things.

New fun in New York

Great for all ages. Interactive, fun, and a great bang for your buck. COVID Clean. Worth the money! You need reservations and they will let you in 15 minutes before your time.

covid friendly
May 2021 • Family
Overall it was a great experience! Very Covid friendly; masks up at all times and they gave you little bags to place treats and gifts inside to eat or use later! You could social distance and it had many great exhibits to visit. I took off 1 star because it isn’t SUPER interesting but a fun way to spend a few hours. (I went when it was raining so it was great).

Please don't waste your time or money

WASTE OF TIME and lost a couple of brain cells walking through this place. All the positive reviews must be fake unless those are from people that were inebriated or high and so the lack of any content whatsoever wouldn't be an issue. This was such a shame as there is so much opportunity to really explore color in art and nature and food and emotion. This was just ridiculous. $60 for parking and $38 per ticket to waste an hour (wait time is nuts even with a reservation! ) and then you are grouped with many others that might actually be distracting to the one room that was somewhat interesting ( the room with the wall murals that change based upon lighting). The staff is young and fun but that really can't make up for the lack of anything to learn, see or do here.

Everything about this place was great, from the minute you walk in, till the minute you leave. Very Covid safe activity. Really, really enjoyed it. Lots of meaning throughout at every exhibit. Super interactive and lots of thoughtful surprises. Would highly recommend checking it out!

A light-hearted way to spend a few hours
Dec. 2019
We were the only adults at the Color Factory without children, but we let the families go first and then got to enjoy it at our own pace - and get some awesome photos - without holding anyone up. Don't think you can't go if you don't have children - it's for everyone!

You get a QR code to scan at certain photo points, so you don't have to worry about asking other people to take your photos. The Color Factory is an interactive, colourful exhibition - 16 installations of pure fun - with tasty treats and gifts to pick up along the way. It's a light-hearted way to spend a few hours.

I was a little scared of the price at first but after doing it, it was beyond worth it. It was very interactive and fun with friends and as well as getting great photos, they gave us so much food! we got macaroons, gelato, soda, and a free gift. My roommate and I had a blast

A phenomenal experience...so much fun!!! My daughter and I loved every bit of it, from the sweet treats of gummies, macarons and mochi ice cream to the interactive stations of the ball pit and drawing one another. We definitely will go back again! It was one of the top highlights being in NYC.
