Neighbourhood: Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our guide said it was a statue to "First Responders", to honor all who respond first in time of need.
It is a nicely done statue that deserves a more prominent location in the park

Located in Liberty Park, it's a great monument for the United States Special Forces and their response to 9/11. I think we forget or overlook that there was an Afganistan War after 9/11, so this is a good reminder for all. We focus so much on all the lives tragically lost that day and need to remember that these brave men and women fought for our Freedoms.

The America’s Response Monument is located in Liberty Park next to the 9/11 Memorial. This nearly 5-metre-high bronze sculpture created by Douwe Blumberg was created in honour of the soldiers of the US Army who fought in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. It was commissioned by a group of Wall Street friends who lost loved ones in the attacks.
