We had taken a helicopter ride and decided to just go across to Staten island on the ferry. Despite lots of people boarding there was plenty of room. We really enjoyed this experience. And best of all it was free!

From the South Ferry Terminal on the southern top of Manhattan, you could take the ferry across the bay and back again in about an hour. Enjoy!
