Ornate and even a bit eerie, the neo-gothic Grace Church is nonetheless lovely.

We stopped by Grace Church because my boss use to work there. It is a beautiful church with so much detail. You can definitely see the age in the rock, whether that be from broken edges or the stone changing colors. Either way it was...More

No matter where I travel I always find myself visiting old churches. While I was disappointed that there was no organ music on a Monday, I'm still glad I stepped in to Grace Church. The church has been well taken care of. I enjoyed sitting...More

Stumbled across this gorgeous church the other day and stopped in my tracks. I'd been passing by it forever but it had been covered with scaffolding. It's now reopened and looks amazing! It's considered one of the architectural treasures of NYC and is landmarked. It's...More

Historic, pretty, traditional and welcoming. A bit of an oasis in a very busy part of town. We found it quite charming.

Love the gothic details of the architecture and the lovely courtyard. This is where P.T. Barnum orchestrated the wedding of General Tom Thumb and the guests raised a huge ruckus in this elegant place. Lots of cool history about this church. Intriguing neighborhood also!

Grace Church is beautiful and as an Episcopalian, I would be pre-disposed to be charitable. We went there for a mid-day organ meditation and arrived early on a day that was breaking the heat records. There is a lovely green oasis adjacent to the church,...More
