Beautiful items, but not all are hand crafted.

I have been to this store several times and have always been impressed with the items for sale until this visit. My husband and I bought a glass Christmas Tree and assumed it... read more

There are a gazillion stores of all varieties on 7th Avenue in and around midtown, but this one is so totally totally different that upon walking in, you wonder how you had been transported to another block somewhere. I grew up in the NY metropolitan area, love the city, go as often as I can now that I live out... More

There are so many wonderful items in this store. As some of the posts before have mentioned, not everything is American made. However, there are so many amazing and unique and one-of-a-kind items that it was so fun to browse. I ended up also going to Gallery 55 (150 West 55th Street) and purchased a beautiful hand blown glass oil... More

Purchased item on Saturday. Salesperson looked up artist and location item was made before purchase. Went back Sunday to purchase glass vase and consider chair and also needed additional matching chair. Owner was rude and would not disclose artist before purchase ? Keeping artist a secret does not help artist. Who buys expensive art without knowing artist and or where... More

I knew I was in trouble when I walked in.......What an amazing collection of art and crafts. From the handmade wooden boxes to the beautiful glass Kaleidoscopes, to the wood furniture, of which I bought the most amazing Walnut chair. Staff could not have been nicer and Olga sorted our purchase and shipping with no bother. Highly recommend.

I have been to this store several times and have always been impressed with the items for sale until this visit. My husband and I bought a glass Christmas Tree and assumed it would have been made by an American Craftsman. After we got home and unpacked it we found the "Made in China sticker on the box". Not the... More

Meeting mom for dinner. She was at theater and was walking around killing time. This store is really cool. Lots of neat pieces. Love the wood boxes. Very pricey but some items are reasonable.

On my last morning in NYC, I stumbled across this gallery. I saw something that appealed to me ($585). The 2 staff were dealing with 2 other customers and while I didn't expect them to deal with me and ignore the other customers, they could have acknowledged me and given the occasional eye contact rather than (as one of them... One of the few art galleries in NY City showcasing Glass Art. They have quite a range of items from glass to wood and in all price ranges.

Even if you don't intend to buy this place has some interesting pieces of artistic crafts: jewelry, glass designs, crafted wood objects, tables, etc. If you're nearby, stop in and have a look.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
