Went in to check out the fresh pastas, as was recommended. There was a cat sitting in the middle of the store. After a few sneezes, left for fear of cat hair in the pasta

This is the place for old school handmade ravioli, and pasta. They have all the varieties of macaroni--fresh or dried to take home. They have fresh sauce.

Piemonte Ravioli has been serving Little Italy and NYC fresh pasta since 1920. However, their tomato sauce is to die for. It's made with San Marzano tomatoes and no sugar or preservatives. We had some on wonderful gnocchi and were in heaven!

This store front of Piemonte Ravioli factory is located next to Alleva. The store doesn't have much going on inside but you can sample fresh pasta and buy some to take home. I wonder how many local restaurants use their pasta?
