It’s hard to know where to start. I have watched several performances of this show over the years including shows at The Ambassador Theatre when I visit New York. I have always thoroughly enjoyed them. This time though I am very very disappointed and I...More

We went on 30th November to see this show. I really enjoyed the movie so thought we would see it on broadway. It’s not the best theatre show I’ve been to and it wasn’t the worst. I thought it was great and you could sing...More

Guys my wife and I were lucky enough to see the musical Chicago in the ambassador theatre this November, our first night out to watch this very very well polished act and to say we both enjoyed it would be an understatement. Time flew by...More

Loved it. Laughed my self hoarse. In an old, decrepit theatre that has seen better days. Cast was amazing!!!!! Did not get to see Cuba Gooding as lawyer but he popped out at the end of the performance. Don’t be a snob! It isn’t a...More

Cuba Gooding Jr. was in the play for a limited time so this was the reason we picked this play! It was our first broadway play and it was wonderful! We did day of seats and were really close but to the side but that...More

Hi Shairi! We're glad you choose Chicago for your first Broadway show. Thanks for stopping by the cell block!

It has been around for years and it does not need a big name lead. It is classic theater and it will go on for many more years to come.

I took my daughter to see her first Broadway show and what a disappointment. We are from Chicago, so my daughter thought seeing Chicago would be fun! However, instead of cultivating a love of theatre, it left a bad taste for the genre in her....More

I went to NY for the first time in my life and at the top of my to-do list was a Broadway show...my first Broadway show ever. Since I was obsessed with Chicago and knew the lines to the entire movie and would listen to...More

I’ve seen countless productions and this was by far the worst with exception to the show Vegas in Vegas. Velma’s diction was terrible. I knew the words because I’ve seen the movie so many times but I had trouble understanding a lot of what she...More

Chicago the musical was a big disappointment. Cuba couldn't sing. Roxie was ok, Velma was over the top. Best parts were Amos, Mamma and Mary Sunshine. Boring set, no set changes, no costume changes. Chorus was slow and lacking...older cast. Not much better than a...More

There is nothing too bad, some subtle references to adult situations... but solid PG. 12 and up is fine.
