This is a cool quiet spot at the north end of battery park city. There are green fields to picnic on and million dollar harbor views everywhere.

This is a nice park at the Northern end of Battery Park. It is very clean and well maintained. You can see the Statue of Liberty from here. Nice place to walk and spend some relaxing time here.

The walk inside the park which stretches along the river is really peaceful, relaxing, and offers beautiful views of New Jersey and the Statue of Liberty.

Located on the northern tip of The Battery Park Esplanade this is a great location to take in a cool breeze or nap on the well kept greens. The real beauty though is to continue south along this tree lined river walk, passing North Cove...More

We walked down to this area because we specifically heard about the giant slide at Teardrop park. It wasn't clear ahead of time that Teardrop park pretty much only has a giant slide, but it was still worth it! We had a lot of fun...More

NYC has some of the best parks around and this one doesn't disappoint. Take a walk along the water and just enjoy the view. Or take the kids along. The playground here is fenced in and tremendous. My kids love the kid powered merry go...More

When we arrived to Battery park we saw this park. Even from the ferry it can be seen. By the time we got back from Ellis Island we were overwhelmed with information and we slowly walked through it! Lovely!

Many benches to rest from walking NYC all day. Quiet with breeze from the water & a view of Lady Liberty. Will definitely go back to explore more of Battery Park south next time. It's like a separate mini-city within the Big Apple but still...More

Right behind Brookfield Place when exiting through the back doors. There's sailing excursions (and school!), large well-lit walkways, and amazing views. There's several great areas for photo ops and it ultimately "connects" to Battery Park.

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Catch the Staten Island Ferry for an unbeatable view
of the skyline and Statue of Liberty, or sail to Ellis
