Tried to visit this museum but it was closed. A look at the website reveals that it is closed until further notice as a result of severe flooding in January. A small notice to that effect on the door would have been helpful as we...More

The volunteer museum guide turned the usual 30 to 45min tour into an almost 2 hours event with our group of visitors. Our kids had a wonderful history lesson, and we all learned a lot about the founding father of American finance system, Alexander Hamilton....More

I have always been interested in currency and finance and it was so interesting to see old bills and a lot of other information. A ticker tape from the stock market crash.

The building was from an old bank, really nice. The museum is very small, but pretty interesting. We got a tour there and they explained how the stock market started and how money worked in the US since the begining. It's a very original museum.

I stopped by the museum on a whim. The museum talks about the building's history and covers economics and market history in a fun way. Definitely would recommend!

Came here while walking around Wall Street. This museum is good and shows you lots of interesting things such as a gold monopoly set which has diamonds for the windows. Well worth a look around this museum if you are near by.

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
