We were visiting in what could be considered winter (April) and there were no turtles to be found. We did see a fair amount of waterfowl, which was nice. We'll have to plan a future trip at a different time of year so we can...More

This is a small pond in Central Park that attracts quite a bit of wildlife and is a fairly quiet area of the park. There are some good views of New York City from here and this is a really good photo opportunity.

Great place to hang out in Central Park, offering scenic views of Belvedere Castle. It’s pretty in the winter, when the water is frozen.

Algae blooms blanketed this otherwise beautiful ponds. You can still see turtles sticking their heads out of the water but it's troubling to see them poking through the algae blooms.
