Nice skating rink and closed in park. Gorgeous, giant tree is a destination spot during the holidays. Close to NBC studios.

After visit to Saint Patrick’s cathedral we cross the street to Rockefeller Plaza my first time there to see the ice skaters and monument it was pretty awesome

Another must see as its in so many films it can get very busy ( but where dose not in NY ) the hustl and bustle and atmosphere is great

Even if you don't plan to enter the Rockefeller Center, it is the hub around which the surrounding area rotates. Flags from dozens of countries flap in the breeze. Stores for the well-heeled line the streets. And NBC has its studios nearby.

The crowds here at Xmas to see the tree are huge!!! Visited the tree at 6pm on 12-2 and it was pure insanity. Larger crowd than at a major college football game. Unless you must—Put this @ the bottom of the to-do list.

You can just wander around and soak it all up, its very busy but I’m sure you will love it
