large chain shopping heaven. You name it. Crammed in here is just about everything you think you don't need. It really is the Big Apples main street.

May be Main Street because of the crowds and major retailers but it doesn't have the intrinsic charm of Main Street in rural America - close to the Empire State building and lots of places to eat and shop but that doesn't make it anything...More

Hustle and bustle with lots of noise. 34th is alive with energy 24/7/365. Many places to eat and shop. Smack in the middle is Penn Station. Very accessible by public transportation.

A crowded street with lots of shops, incl. the famous Macy’s at the cross road with the Broadway Av., also very close to the Empire State Building.

34th Street is where most Long Islanders begin their day in the city. Plenty of shopping and places to eat.

34th Street is one of New York City's main shopping areas with chain stores lining both sides. Its the home of Macys Herald Square, which will always be a party of reminding us of the Miracle on 34th Street.

So many stores and places to eat on 34th Street. It's a great walk end to end. Not to mention, the home of the Empire State Building.

34th is a bit of a mess. Some parts should just be avoided completely, crowds are insane, especially between 6th and 7th ave. It's not a nice street but if you go it's usually for retail shopping.
