This is a nice well maintained park with a fountain to add some white noise. The lawn, flowers and trees are all pretty nice. I suspect many of the people relaxing are tourists who have been walking around southern Manhattan and really appreciate the benches.

We had a wee break here after walking over the bridge and had an ice cream while taking in the crowds wandering about lower Manhattan . There's great views of the City Halls and the Supreme courts.

After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge this was a lovely site. Trees lined the park offering us shade. Beautiful flowers & plants were abundant. The pigeons would come right up to you to get food. Food trucks were conveniently parked around & the ice cream...More

This is close to the supreme court complex. An ideal place sit down during your city sightseeing. Fountain area is good on a warm day.

What a lovely building and park adjacent to it. Plenty of benches to take that welcome rest either before trekking over Brooklyn Bridge or coming from the other side. Can view the front of City Hall and the Woolworth Building from the park as well...More

After walking the Brooklyn bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan (which is an absolute must, see that review) you get close to NY City hall and it's park. Although small in size the park is a great place to rest and admire the early era skyscrapers...More

This park, which dates to the early 1800s, is a great place to rest your weary feet. It has beautiful gardens as well as statues and fountains. Great for eating a quick lunch and people watching. Green spaces are so important in big cities.

This is a beautiful place to kill an hour, no stress in New York City with historic 1900's City Hall building and the park in front of it, make sure that there are no demonstrations taking place that day as that will put a damper...More

Walked around for a few minutes and loved the park, but there's really nothing special about it. Still, ok just to sitback and relax.

Sorry, I can't help you with this. I haven't been in that area after dark in very many years.
