Walk through this cavern with an actual candle lantern in your hand and nothing else to light your way as you travel deep into the cavern. Our guide was fun and knowledgable.

Good path. Storytelling on tour is a bit cheesy. I would prefer history of caverns instead. Path is mostly easy with some challenging areas. Candlelight walk was cool. Harder to see in dark but good experience. Cavern is very dark. Cannot see hand in front...More

This tour costs an additional charge after the paying the park entrance. It meets in the visitor center museum and then heads down with a ranger. It's done with lanterns no backpacks allowed. It takes you to left hand side of the rest area at...More

I really enjoyed the self guided tour of the Big Room and the guided tour of the Kings Room led us through some amazing sites. Left Hand Tunnel tour was less engaging. Our guide was knowledgeable and skilled, but the cave is not that interesting....More

My wife and I really enjoyed the Left Hand Tunnel Tour. Walking with candle lanterns recreated the experience early explorers had when first discovering the various tunnels. I've read in other reviews that this was a strenuous walk. Obviously not an accessible tour and there...More

My husband and I did a lantern tour and it was amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and polite. I would suggest that everyone take this tour. It is one of those things that you will never forget.

Our ranger was extremely knowledgeable and spoke at great length about how the cave was discovered and developed. The tour included a smaller number of people which made it intimate, especially with lantern light. One woman in our group had a difficult time keeping her...More

We did the Natural Entrance, the Big Room, the King's Palace, and the Left Hand Tunnel tour. This may have been our favorite. The "decorations" may not be as ornate as the Big Room, but it's not really about that. This tour goes beyond the...More
