Great place to go for a walk, bike, fish or even rent a pedal boat. Take a swim in a protected area of the river or swim park. Awesome playgrounds & splash pad for kids!

The walking path along the Pecos River is both beautiful and relaxing. You can easily complete a relatively low impact 3 mile walk around the river while enjoying the beautiful scenery. I would recommend more trash receptacles be placed between the golf course clubhouse and...More

The park is a nice idea and during nice weather makes for a good stroll area, however, during our visit there was a lot of trash and other debris along the river. If the trash was cleaned up this would be much nicer.

Carlsbad has the best park within hundreds of miles. In the summer you can swim, all year long you can fish. There are walking trails. It's a beautiful place to visit.

I spent six days in Carlsbad in November. I had started a walking regime and was so excited to find the wonderful Pecos River park. There is a walking suspension bridge over the river that is delightful. The motion of the water and the movement...More
