We stopped at the Ripple Rock Nature Center when we visited Capitol Reef last August. The kids wanted to become Capitol Reef Jr Rangers and Jr Geologists. I had high expectations based on past reviews. It was only open one of the days we were there so we made a point in visiting it. It's really small and we spent like 5 minutes...

Take the kids and the camera, Christmas card perfect. We spent about two hours there. Bring in your own snacks.

This is in a great setting for the kids to learn the nature and geology around the area. There was lots to do in the building including toys, crafts and hands on learning.

This is a great stop in Capital Reef if you are travelng with kids. They have interactive displays and activities related to the history and geology of the area.
