Don't get in a rush a great way to spend time in Manteo an absolutely beautiful town. Walking is not bad no stairs to climb very informative.

Enjoyed seeing a different kind of Lighthouse than the norm. Well kept. Parking seemed limited but that might have been because I was unfamiliar with the area.

Stopped by twice: Sunday closed and Friday was open but stairway closed which is what we looked forward to doing. Other than seeing few artifacts and postings, walked around the house and left. Wish there was more to see/do.

Lots of shops and restaurants but tight parking. The lighthouse is at the end of the boardwalk where there is a view of the ship across the channel. It was open when we were there. Small compared to Bodie and Hatteras, but a quaint design..
