Beautiful Playalinda

Very nice beach, takes a while to get there. National Park, so free with senior pass. Bathrooms available, lots of parking.

I live locally, and spend time at Playalinda Beach during all seasons. There are restrooms at the parking lots, but the rest of the area is pure, natural beach: dunes, sand, water. One might see wildlife on the drive from in-town Titusville to the beaches - gators, turtles, birds of all kinds, wild pigs; the landscape is Florida in-the-raw, not the... More

Having spent the previous day in airplanes, I was keen to get out into the country. CNS is quite unspoilt, and has lots of wildlife to see. At Haulover canal we saw dolphins and manatees, we saw huge flocks of water birds just as we were driving around (also the occasional osprey), and we saw some huge vultures by the... More

Awesome views and the sea absolutely gorgeous with huge waves!! The tree shapes were amazing, especially, the ones arching across one side of the road to the other side of the road. Today, it was windy but enjoyed the drive and the views. There were many restrooms along the drive and booths to view the ocean from many different advantage... More

This seashore is absolutely beautiful and because it is away from the crowded beaches, it makes it an added bonus!

This was a natural seashore with no businesses around. The dunes and plant life was nice to see right there at the beach, virtually untouched. If you want a quiet, non-crowded beach with no business noise around this is it.

We went out of our way to visit this seashore. It was a beautiful day. We had a senior pass so we did not have to pay to park.

The entire beach is beautiful but if you park at Lot 1 and walk south it will be less crowded. If you keep walking south you'll get to a fence and a little watch house on stilts. That fence separates Kennedy Space Center's private property/beach. (Little known fact: the Astronauts have a small, private beach house they can utilize if... More
