The fairways had been flooded and were in terrible condition, with trees limbs and shrubs still on the grass even though it was a couple of weeks since the rain. Poorly taken care of and definately NOT worth the $29 green fee.
This is a tough little sucker with little room for error on most holes. Greens were in top condition. Fairways not much so we invoked some winter rules. Tee boxes were fine.

The historic course carved out of the Tecolote Canyon is a unique and pleasant golfing experience. The approaches aren't hard, the greens however, are tricky. A good place to start the season, sharpen your short game, and enjoy the southern California setting.
