Unfortunately we only went here half way through our day visit. This is effectively a visitor centre, as the staff here as well as the information available was excellent and making this the first stop would help to decide how best to spend you time

This is a Visitor Center where the people were extremely helpful and friendly and provided maps and advice for visiting Balboa Park. There are rest rooms and a good starting point for visiting the park.
