Located in downtown San Diego, the USS Midway (Museum) was America’s longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century. Today, the interactive museum is an unforgettable adventure for the entire family as guests walk in the footsteps of the 225,000 young men who served on Midway. Visitors explore a floating city at sea, the amazing flight deck and its 29 restored aircraft, flight simulators, and are inspired in the Battle of Midway Theater, included with admission. Admission also includes a self-guided audio tour narrated by Midway sailors in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, French and German. Visiting Midway is a once-in-a-lifetime experience in San Diego, known around the world as "Navy Town, USA."

We were going on a cruise and the Midway was just a short walk away. Never been on an Aircraft Carrier before, so was a new experience. Definitely a must for the bucket list in San Diego

Anyone visiting San Diego must see this military museum. It is very authentic and documents life on an aircraft carrier very well. There are many hand-on displays to help visitors of all ages learn about the US Navy.

Wonderful experience with an exceptional guide. Spent a few hours and learned about many aspects of take offs and landings. We were fortunate to have a Naval Academy pilot as a guide. He spoke of his flying experiences and a near miss.

Very informative tour. Lots of interesting things to see. It takes at least a couple hours to go through the tour. I took 3.5 hours. Very interesting to see what goes on on an aircraft carrier

Great history. Lots to see and do. WWII vets available to talk about their experiences. The Carrier is open as a self guided tour with lots of walking, stairs and things to see.

We had a corporate outing on the USS Midway in the evening. It was so fun to roam the decks and get up close to the planes. So many planes to look at and tour. We were able to ride the flight simulators too. WOW!...More
