Cozy and friendly park

Great food and beer at this park! It is one of the smaller ones, so it gives a bit of an intimate experience. Stroll around the shops and get a bit of history.

I have been to many MLB games and I am accustomed to getting ripped off on concessions. But this place really puts the screws to you. It is a very nice stadium that lacks in character but more than makes up for it with beautiful weather and friendly staff. Ticket prices are average. If you can swing it, eat and... More

We have made an evening at the park a part of our last 2 visits to San Diego. We stay at the amazing Omni right next door. There is a bridge right into the park and you don't have any lines. Just walk right in. The Park is clean and modern. There is an excellent variety of food vendors too.... More

This ballpark is beautiful and if you go, take the time to walk around the entire park to take in the amazing views. There is a fabulous marketplace when you first enter that sells fresh fruits and delicious salads, gluten free foods, and other healthful snacks. You'll find the usual ballpark fare throughout the stadium--but on Tuesdays there are Tacos... More

What can I say? Padres baseball is really all about PetCo park because , well, the Padres aren't that good! LoL But thankfully , their ball park is! Come enjoy the people watching and who ever is playing the pads!

First let me say that the actual tour that we received was GREAT. You may wonder why my rating is so low. It's because of the cancelation of tours & rescheduling that we had to go thru in order to take the tour. We looked on the Petco Park web-site the morning of our tour......nothing said about cancelation. I called... More

Do it take the tour of the park. We took the tour prior to a game but the park is open even when the Padres are not in town. I did learn a lot about the process and a bit of history of the area pre park being built. One take home was this park only has one foul pole,... More

We had tickets to a Padres game but discovered that you could also take a Petco Park Tour, so we signed up for and bought tickets to the 12:30 tour. It was GREAT!!! For 1-1/2 hours we walked around the stadium, in the dugouts, and behind the scenes of this beautiful park. Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous, and we... More

We like to go to Padres Opening Day to see the changes to Petco Park during the off season. Most noticeable are the changes to the lighting and scoreboards, which are very professional. Restaurants have changed, with a good variety of nice eateries available. The "beach" in centerfield is gone, but the Park at the Park is still there for... More
