What a WONDERFUL area!!! 56 square blocks, I believe they say it is. The day we were there the weather was superb and they were having blocks and blocks of open air markets (reminded me of the REAL Italy!!!). We had a super, very authentic lunch. Would highly recommend spending time in this wonderful area of this beautiful city!

It's a fun area with lots of places to eat and some fun little grocers and shops. Parking can be a bit hard to find, but it's ok.

After looking at all the different menus and restaurants, we settled on one that looked like a market with a restaurant in back. Nothing fancy but the food and atmosphere was great. Fun street to walk on.

Last November we visited Little Italy while attending a wedding in San Diego. It is such a great place to visit. Eateries and Pubs all around this area, together with shopping. You can easily dedicate a whole day to visiting this area in downtown San Diego. We walked around and enjoyed the urban view and got to see how it... More

Walk the streets before you decide the place you wish to dine in. Most of the places are very high price. You will find a menu of your liking some where.

Just north of downtown San Diego is the Italian district knows as little Italy. A few blocks of restaurants with amazing food, art galeries and upscale residential buildings line the area. Easy walk from diebtoen and the trolley stops there too. Fun to visit anytime of the day and a great night life.

We stayed in a little studio, there were restaurants, a Saturday market, great local coffee place and easy access to bike rentals, the ferry and Lyft!!
