Nice boat and everyone was very nice. Saw dolphins and a shy whale, didn't see much of him. Got a great deal with Groupon.

Hello Debbie, thank you for choosing SD Whale Watch. We are glad to hear you had fun on your trip, please come back and join us again!

for 48$ and based on their setting of expectation the result was disappointing. i can understand the sucess of every trip is of course gambling on nature, but based on what they charge and how much they promise, they could at least spend the advertised...More

Thank you for joining us recently! Our prices are fairly similar (if not exactly the same) as all whale watching companies that run out of San Diego. We are also lucky enough to have a great community of whale watchers that work together and share...More

We found a Groupon and decided to try whale watching. The guide was great and although we didn't see any whales the dolphins were amazing! The check-in at the store was a bit unorganized. Also, we all rented the binoculars and only 1 pair would...More

Great time. My son and I got to see one whale and several large dolphin pods. Not a whole lot of wildlife but nature can be unpredictable. The views were amazing and the staff was very friendly. I loved it!

I know nature can't be controlled. But, the guarante to see whales is a bit of a paradox, when the boat stays out on rough waters looking for whales. I tried to keep my eyes on the horizon, but did subcumb to the sounds of...More

Thank you for joining us recently! As with any and all boating activities, it is recommended that guests take a look at the marine forecast in advance to ensure that sea sickness medication can be taken on time (if needed). Although some days are bumpier...More

Very knowledgeable guides. Large enough ship that rough water is less of an issue. Saw hundreds of dolphins, a few immense blue whales, and a couple of grey whales! Will definitely go again when I’m in the area.

Been on San Diego Whale watch 4 times now and each time the crew was very knowledgeable and did a great job to spot whales for us. There is no guarantee but they really try to ensure you see whales.

The staff are friendly and informative, you need cash for the boat, if you want to buy anything on board. We had 5-8 foot swells on the way out but the boat is stable so it wasn’t bad. You can if you need to buy...More

This was a thoroughly enjoyable and well done whale watching trip. All the crew, both on the boat and dockside were friendly and competent. All seemed to care about each passenger. They left on time which I like, as some of these type tours aren't...More

I don't have an answer for that. I do know that San Diego Whale Watch was very upfront with us about what we might see or not see... We were late in the season mid april....might want to call them
