Sweet!

We had a blast! While we didn't see any whales (inbetween seasons) we saw an amazing pod of dolphins! The tour guides were great and very knowledgeable. A must do!

We liked our time in this tour, despite the fact that we didn't see any whales. We saw some cool dolphins. Not seeing whales is not the reason why I gave them a 3, they tried their best. My reasons for the low rating are that when you don't see any animals 3 hours is a long time. Most of... More

Since July isn't exactly whale season, I went into our cruise prepared to not see any whales. We booked a half day (2-3 hour) cruise in the afternoon. The reports from the week had showed good luck with a whale sighting more often than not. We wound up spotting 3 humpback whales, one of which breached near the boat probably... More

Nice boat with plenty of both indoor and outdoor spaces, drinks and snacks for sale, and informative and friendly naturalist and other staff. Unfortunately we did not see any whales (I understand that this sometimes happens in the off-season and late November through spring is much better). They did give us a free voucher to try again. Pro tip: seriously,... More

Thank you for the kind review. We're sorry you weren't able to see any whales on your tour. It is a little slow right now as it is in between seasons. Hopefully soon, those Gray Whales will be making their way through San Diego! Join us again this winter! More

We had a blast! Didn't see a whale, but saw a ton of dolphins and took lots of fun pictures. The company gave us a coupon for next time, so we can actually see the whales. Will be going again!

The trip was fun. There are restrooms onboard. The trip was about 3 hours. We did see about 1000 dolphins No whales but they gave us coupons for half off another day. I would go again. If you sit in the front of the boat you will get soaked.

When booking this tour, we hoped to see some whales, daulphins and sharks. Unfortunately, we did not see any sea animals and this was very disappointing! Moreover, the tour lasted 3 hours and most people got seasick and had to vomit the whole time. For that reason, it became a horrortrip, rather than an exciting experience, and I would not... More

We're sorry you did not have the experience you were hoping for. It is a rare and unfortunate occurance that nothing is seen and that so many get sick. We do our best to make sure that our guests are comfortable and at least see some wonderful sea life, but sometimes, nature can get the best of us. We hope... More

Horrible experience. No whale seen, no delphins. But the worst has been the fact that all the people felt sick, and at least half vomited. Sea conditions were normal considering that it is the pacific... A trip in the middle of the ocean to hear, smell and see people vomiting

We're sorry to hear of your experience. As unfortunate as the trip was, it is rare that nothing is seen and not common that so many get sick. We hope that in the future, you might give it another chance and see that it can truly be a great experience. More

Great trip out to sea to view dolphins and whales. Unfortunately, on the day we went there were no whales to see but we did see over 500 dolphins playing, jumping and just having fun. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

We did not see any whales but they were upfront about that and said it had been hit or miss. After being out there for a while we saw over 1000 dolphins and a whole bunch of sea lions. We received 50% off vouchers for the next time. Great group of naturalists and a not too many people.
