This place always is a good time! Impromptu comedy at its finest. Every show is different. The comedians are quick witted with audience participation. The later shows are adult humor. But the earlier show keep it clean and are great family fun. Stop into the english pub and shop in the front before show.

We were lucky to find NCT a few years ago and try to go as often as we can, just us adults, or with our teenage kids as well. We laugh so hard every time we attend a performance -- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, too! Our 15 year old son says that improv is much, much funnier than going... More

It is hard to really judge this after only seeing it once but we were visiting the area so we may not get back. If you are driving do go early to find a parking spot and to find the theatre. There is different theatre on the corner which makes it confusing. There was a group of us wandering around... More

NCT never fails to delight. It's Improv, not stand-up comedy, which imho makes it much funnnier. The audience is part of the show, which is fun, too. There were all ages at the show I was at, from kids to grandparents -- and EVERYONE was laughing! It's a great date night, going out with the girls night, taking the kids... More

The National Comedy Theatre is a true treasure. We attended the late Sat. Improv show and were absolutely wowed by the comedians/actors and their level of abilities and how top notch their performances were. The setting is quaint and the concessions are NOT outrageous! This is a great treat that is also safe for the entire family. Highly recommend attending... More

This is a great 60-90 minute show of live comedy all made up on the spot by the performers based on suggestions from the audience. A super talented cast put on great shows all weekend evenings. It's all ages, so there's no profanity -- and they don't need it, frankly, they're very funny without it. It's always creative and funny.... More

This was my 5th time seeing a show at the NCT. It really never disappoints. Since this is improv comedy, there are a lot of variables and different cast members, but it's reliably entertaining and a fun way to spend an evening. The 7:30 and 9:30 shows are family-friendly with content that can't offend, but still super funny. I came... More

We visited last night and went to the 9.45pm show and we were very disappointed, so much so that we left 30 minutes into the show. It was like watching a Nickelodeon Junior TV show, I'm sure it would be good for kids but for adults? Absolutely terrible. We asked for a refund on tickets but was told the tickets... More

Good show and the best part is that you never really know what your'e going to get. The improve nature of the show is uncomfortable at times but that is what makes it so good. You get to see people be witty and funny and creative on a seconds notice. I Appreciated the fact that it is a show that... More

This is great improv comedy via games (not pre-rehearsed sketches). They are drawing on audience suggestions and participation. Lots of fun!
