The idea is great; showcase the stories of people that have come to the USA, especially in recent decades. Two small rooms house the exhibits. On the day we visited one featured 3-4 page long printed accounts of (young) people from Vietnam, Afghanistan and central America plus one from Ireland. They reminded me of National Public radio's "Story Corps" tales... More

The New Americans Museum is the brainchild of Deborah Szekely, founder of the renowned fitness spa, Rancho la Puerta. It's very small----just two rooms---so easy to see even if one has little time. Liberty Station has so many attractions: a large number of excellent restaurants, shopping (including the every-popular Trader Joe), galleries, and the great NTC park, which is wonderful... More
