My husband and I attended a dinner at the museum for his work. What a cool experience to eat among the artifacts. The food wasn't the best i'd ever had, but you couldn't beat the atmosphere. Very cool museum.

The giant-screen theatre is large and clean with excellent video and picture quality that makes the documentary life-like. I saw Ocean Oasis, a documentary about the marine life of the Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez A good place to take your kids!

It is free to go to Balboa Park and only about $12 for adults to go to the Museum and you learn so much! The whole story of people! Additionally there is often a really cool seasonal exhibit!

We were inclined to visit this museum as it is part of the reciprocal program with our local children's museum annual pass and as such provided free admission. It is a great way to burn some energy and get the kids out of the house...More

This museum is absolutely awful. One of the worst I've ever been to. It is an absolute waste of time and money. The displays are very basic and really limited. We saw a few skulls that could frankly be from any animal, some small sets...More
