Founded in 1916, the Zoo has been an icon in San Diego for nearly 100 years—and an absolute must-see in Southern California. Spend the day monkeying around in our tropical oasis as you visit beautiful habitats that are home to gorillas, eagles, tigers, sun bears, Asian leopards, rare reptiles, a palette of colorful birds, and more. Visit the Australian Outback to delight in our colony of 24 koalas, and travel along Panda Trek to experience giant pandas and other animals that share their bamboo forest habitat. Go back in time through Elephant Odyssey to discover what animals used to roam Southern California and see what the elephants are up to. Enjoy a guided tour on a double-decker bus or the scenic view from the Skyfari aerial tram, and dine in the peaceful surroundings of Albert's Restaurant. Discover the wonders of wildlife with animal encounters, interactive experiences, and keeper chats. A leader in animal care and conservation, the San Diego Zoo is at the heart of the San Diego experience.

If you visit San Diego then you need to visit the Zoo, one of the best I have ever been to. Unfortunately if you want to see the Giant Pandas they only come out when they are fed so find out the times.

My first thought upon entering the zoo was that it looked so well done it almost seemed like an amusement park. We went on a weekday that was overcast in the morning. We took the bus tour first thing and saw more animals than I...More

The zoo is way too big. Don't be fooled by the map and think you find a shortcut to the place. Most likely that shortcut only exists in the map , not the real zoo. And the design of the zoo is quite poor too....More

We've heard about this zoo as the best. It was very good. We took the bus tour and had the best guide. Very informative and entertaining. Grandson of the snake guy.

Enjoyed my quick visit to the San Diego zoo. They've maximized the zoo location with trails that wrap over and under each other on hillsides, really upping the interest of the site itself. Perhaps what struck me most was the obvious health of the animals...More

We visited the zoo with our 3 and 5 year old, and the loved it. We took the bus tour first, which worked out well. It was only 35 minutes and gave a great overview of the park. We never would have been able to...More

A great place to visit whilst in SD; we went on a Sunday in mid August and whilst it was busy there were not really any queues. Animals looked well looked after with clean enclosures. The zoo is on a hill that makes walking around...More

I am so sorry, but I do not know. Contact the zoo and they should be able to tell you.

Your photos should have come available already. If they still have not I would contact their customer service number on their site.
