I wanted to visit this museum because it is also home to the 35th Infantry Division which my father served in during WW2. I was not disappointed. Nice quality display and VERY welcoming volunteer who showed us around. In addition to the 35th WW2 memorabilia...More

I didn't know there was so much history of the National Guard. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the M*A*S*H display. So recognizable from the TV set.

Visited this free museum while traveling via Topeka. On display they have Army CH-54, OH-6A Silver Eagles and USAF EB-57 Canberra among other on display. Worth a while to make a stop to check it out.

We had a walk around outside taking in all the military vehicles. They have all sorts out there from tanks to helicopters. We had a look inside, very interesting, following the 35th thru their campaigns in Europe during WW2. We'll worth the visit highly recommend.

The hours are 10:00 am - 4 pm Monday through Saturday. Anyway, they were when I was there. And yes, no admission charge, but donations gladly accepted.
