I didn't know there was so much history of the National Guard. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the M*A*S*H display. So recognizable from the TV set.

Visited this free museum while traveling via Topeka. On display they have Army CH-54, OH-6A Silver Eagles and USAF EB-57 Canberra among other on display. Worth a while to make a stop to check it out.

The hours are 10:00 am - 4 pm Monday through Saturday. Anyway, they were when I was there. And yes, no admission charge, but donations gladly accepted.
