This is a "must" for all train buffs and those who enjoy historic sites. The station itself with its architecture is well worth the visit in itself. The static displays are neat and the staff are well versed in both train and Topeka history especially...More

Nicely restored old depot about one third scale of the Union Station in KC MO. In the older railroad section of town, of course, so is sort of desolate and isolated. Still, we felt safe in the daytime, but would not want to be in...More

We are new to Topeka and was looking to learn more about our new home city. This was a fun place to visit. Learned a lot about how the railroad helped Topeka grow and become the city it is.

As a Architectural Photographer, I love historic Depots. This is one of the best, with a beautiful Flag Display on the grounds.

You really get to know and learn that car and bus and plane travel is so taken for granted when you think of how people moved across the country on the train line. Such a beautiful building. It's fantastic history to learn about.
