I am a Civil War buff and if I am in a town that has a museum/battlefield/cemetery, I will usually go see. It is small, but it is still worth the effort.

The Battlefield is interesting with monuments, gravesites and information boards. However, it is very small, on the corner of a very busy street, with very limited parking. Worth a stop if you're in Tupelo.

We have been to so many NBFs & NMP s, we were not expecting this! I suggest they should mention that its just a memorial with a small structure & 2 cannons

I agree with other reviewers but it's still nice to stop and see a site where they have taken the time to commentate the men who fought and died here. It's much easier to find than the Raymond Battlefield. We've tried to find it twice...More

We are traveling to all the NPS units and I do not remember a less noteworthy site. The interpretation is actually at the Natchez Trace Information Center. Though it is only a mile off the Trace it is not really much more notable than a...More

Was a little disappointed in this location, no place to park onsite. You must park across the street and then cross a busy 4 lane highway with no real crosswalk at the light. Once you get to the place, there are 2 grave sites ,...More

If you want a quiet place to sip your Starbucks, then a few minutes here might be worthwhile. Two cannons and a plaque do not make for a good historical site. Instead head to Baldwin Mississippi and visit Mississippi's Final Stands Interperative Site. It tells...More

This park is just a corner lot in town. Park on the street, bounce out of the car, take pics, you're done. Stopped by the visitor center but didn't have time and it was pricey.

Unless you're a real Civil War fanatic, it's not worth the detour off the Trace to see it. Less than a city block, a couple of canon, a couple of headstones, a couple of monuments and a single informational board.

Not much to see. We didn't even get out of the car. We just pulled up on the side of the street and looked at it from our vehicle while we decided on our next destination. No parking, either.
