This limited access, 50mph parkway is a great change of pace for any motorcyclist, especially if you love nature and history. We rode from Natchez (bottom end) to mile 145 on a beautiful warm Sunday afternoon and the traffic was limited, even through Jackson, Mississippi....More

If you have to go from Point A to Point B, and they are anywhere near the Natchez Trace, by all means use it. The driving is so easy, with very infrequent possible turns off of the Trace, that you just glide along quietly. And...More

Have traveled the Trace many times. I loved it. Such history and beauty. The welcome center has a short film which highlights its beauty.

Taking the trace is a nice change of pace. The scenery is beautiful especially in the fall when the leaves change. In the spring when the weather is nice roll down the windows and enjoy the fresh air

WHat a great look at history and country side. Unfortunately, we drove it on a cloudy, drizzly cool day, but we seemed to have the whole place to ourselves. Colors were good, sun would have made them better and we did not stop at all...More

You will be fine and you will love the ride. Take your time and explore the various sights along the way. Do be careful of bicycles that will share the road with you.

We stayed one night in Florence AL and found it delightful. There is a lovely Frank Lloyd Wright house there that is now a museum, just as the original owners left it. A nice downtown and some pleasant restaurants.

My husband and I stayed in Tupelo, MS. There are good hotels there. It is the birth place of Elvis. We drove by the house after dinner downtown. There is more there than just the house. Wish we had time to make a full visit.
